The buttonhole is sewn in semi-automatic mode. The stitch parameters are preset: simply turn the selector and choose the desired stitch with the specified stitch length.

The machine allows you to sew blind hems, quilting stitches, attach elastic, or sew with a twin needle. A second spool pin is included.

When winding thread onto the bobbin, the needle bar is automatically locked. The threading diagram is printed on the top panel.

The buttonhole balance adjustment can be used to balance the buttonhole if necessary. The reverse lever is used for securing stitches or sewing backwards.

Leader Silvia is equipped with a built-in needle threader, which is convenient when threading the needle. The machine's advantage is its horizontal hook: the bobbin thread can be threaded quickly, while the amount of bobbin thread remains visible.

The metal needle plate features markings to guide the fabric while sewing. When working with tubular items, such as sleeves and trouser legs, it is convenient to use the free arm by removing the detachable table. The accessories are stored in the compartment of the detachable table.
